Alan trained at Wallasey College of Art as an Illustrator, where he learned to paint in a realistic style. Alan has sold his work all over the world including in America, Australia, Mexico and Holland.
Besides portraits, Alan's other passion is painting wildlife, especially Birds of Prey. Alan lives in a beautiful part of North Wales with views of the Clwyd Mountain range, which he finds to be a great inspiration for his work.
