Sue Goodison

Sue is an artist and teacher of painting on all china and ceramics. She lives and works from an 18th century coach house studio which is situated in the historic village of Church Brough in the Upper Eden Valley. Born and bred on the Fylde coast, Sue started painting in 1983.

Blackpool and Fylde College sponsored Sue to sit an NVQ 7206 Adult Teacher/Training Certificate, and then she started teaching in 1987. Sue is still teaching and inspiring others to this day and has famously painted with Prince Charles when he visited her area.

Since moving to Cumbria at the beginning of 2004 she has promoted China Painting through talks and presentations which has led to a demand for classes.
